Q: Can ROC be sold at the Daytona Breeders’ Expo?
A: Yes, but the seller must have a ($100) ROC permit to posses ROC and the regular ($50) permit to sell wildlife from FL Fish and Wildlife.

Q: If I want to take possession of the ROC at the show do I need the $100 permit?

Q: Can I buy a ROC permit at the show?
A: No, ROC permits must be bought before arriving. A permit form will be in the vendor’s package.

Q: How long does it take to get a ROC permit from FWC?

Q: What is considered a “complete” application?
A: The completed application including inventory and facility location; an accurate and complete questionnaire for each of the ROC species for which you are applying; and Part A of the Critical Incident and Disaster Plan (for Florida Residents/Florida facilities only).

Q: What about chipping the ROC?
A: No, if you are buying this ROC for resale or breeding stock.
Yes, if you are buying the ROC as a personal pet that is 2” or more in diameter and is staying in Florida.
